A Life-Saving Appeal for Little Swarang

Dear Friends,

Master Swarang Gopal Mahajan, 4-year old son of Dr Gopal Ramdas Mahajan, Scientist, ICAR-CCARI, Goa, is suffering from a rare genetic disorder Maroteaux Lamy Syndrome (MLS), which can be treated only at select specialised hospitals. He has been advised by the doctors at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai to undergo a life-saving Haploidentical Bone Marrow transplant by July 2025.

The surgery is expected to cost Rs. 40-45 lakhs. Dr Mahajan has managed to arrange about Rs. 20 lakhs from family and friends, and needs to pool the rest at the earliest.

We appeal to all our IARI fraternity to come forward and help Dr Mahajan by donating whatever amount you can.
